POOLSIDE MEDIA is one designer and a small network of programmers who I call on when I need heavy-duty programming.
I used to be a partner in a design firm in Canada, until I figured out that design teams are unnecessary overhead (as long as you are the best designer on the team!). I went freelance and found that I could comfortably offer clients a significant price break to get the projects I wanted to work on.
I also became internationally mobile. My current location is Costa Rica - where I discovered that the most inspirational place to launch a project is at poolside… and Poolside Media was born.
